We are a small company based in the Midlands, offering help and practical advice to those wanting to improve their property - whatever the reason.
Our Consultant, Lynn Pick, trained in property presentation after being inspired by TV's House Doctor, Ann Maurice, ten years ago. Lynn's background was in hotel and retail management, and she knew that creative presentation usually increased profitability - whether this was applied to hotel rooms, restaurants or window displays - so why not apply this to property?
Lynn's enthusiasm for creative styling has led to many exciting opportunities:
Home Staging:
Lynn originally trained with Ann Maurice, TV's House Doctor, and has since assisted her with the staging of several properties - one of which increased in value by £18,000, following an investment of only £2,000.
Now Lynn is a Senior Consultant and Trainer for the official House Doctor Network.
De-Cluttering:
Dawna Walter, presenter of BBC2's 'Life Laundry' program, trained Lynn to help and advise on De-Cluttering techniques, and Lynn now teaches “Organised Living” at the advanced House Doctor training courses.
Show Home Styling:
Lynn was one of the Stylists at the BBC Good Homes Show at the NEC, involved with planning and styling the show homes and room sets for TK Maxx.
Recently, a Development Company employed Lynn to style a large house they had bought at auction and refurbished. Spending £6,500 on furnishing and dressing the house creatively added a further £100,000 to its asking price!
Since launching Home Stylers Ltd, we have successfully re-styled numerous homes in the East Midlands.
